Dog soap | Apres Plaisir

The dog soap "Après Plaisir" by joveg is a mildly cleansing natural soap that neutralises strong odours without perfume - the ideal helper when the dog has rolled in smelly things like faeces or carrion. Due to the added ground (decaffeinated) coffee beans, the soap has an odour-neutralising effect and thus frees the dog from unpleasant odours. It is also suitable for cleaning and neutralising the smell of dogs with a stronger odours, such as older dogs. 

The natural soap consists of 100% natural ingredients, pure vegetable oils and herbs, as well as coffee and palmarosa. The soap is alkaline, moisturising (and therefore very gentle on the skin) and easy to rinse.  All natural soaps from joveg can be used several times a day without hesitation.

All ingredients are biodegradable, so the natural soap can also be used in the garden. 

USAGE:
Lather the soap in a sponge or directly in the coat, rub in. Leave on for a short time and rinse well. Repeat the process if necessary.   Tip: The joveg soap bag makes application even easier.   All natural soaps from joveg may come into contact with mucous membranes but are not irritating to the skin. If any soap does get into your eyes, simply rinse with clean water. 

INGREDIENTS: INCI: Cocos nucifera oil, Helianthus annuus seed oil, Canola oil, Aqua, Sodium Hydroxide, Ricinus communis oil, Cymbopogon martinii oil, Coffee arabica bean powder, Geraniol*, Linalool* (*= from natural essential oils). 

Natural soap. Free from additives. Contains high quality plant oils, herbs, coffee and palmarosa. 

SUSTAINABILITY:
Compared to liquid dog soaps, the natural soap comes without any plastic packaging at all and is delivered in a cardboard box which can be recycled.

We found the soap in a small dog boutique in Munich and bought it together with the soap bag. When it came to choosing which soap to gofor, it was immediately clear that the "Aprés Plaisir" was just the right one for us, because Lilly is always rolling around in smelly things like horse droppings, cow dung or other excrement. She has also rolled in carrion and the stink was so bad that I had it in my nose for days. The dog soap from joveg was a real stroke of luck for us, because it really does a great job of neutralising odours without smelling like a perfume. I like it when Lilly just smells like Lilly, and not a peach or roses. The great thing about the solid soap is that I can also use it to lather up specific parts of the dogs body. Because of a fir tree in our garden, Lilly always has resin on her head, which sticks very stubbornly to her fur. The soap bag is always kept on hand near the garden hose and washes the resin out of her fur easily and gently.
