The chicken menu is low in fat and rich in vitamins B16 and B12, niacin, potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc due to the monoprotein source chicken. Fresh fruit and vegetables from sustainable agriculture and other natural ingredients such as rapeseed oil, rosehip, fennel, linseed and nettle round off a delicious meal for your four-legged friend.

Why is it a complete feed, even though it contains no additives?

Lakefields does not add any artificial additives. By using high-quality ingredients, the dog's nutritional requirements are still met. Potatoes and vegetables, for example, are excellent sources of potassium, while meat and offal are good sources of phosphorus and vitamin B. The use of liver also covers the dog's vitamin A requirements. Furthermore, natural additives are used to provide nutrients that are not sufficiently contained in the basic ingredients. For example, the calcium requirement of the dog is covered by the addition of eggshells or a sufficient supply of iodine is achieved by the addition of seaweed. The recipe is rounded off by the use of high-quality vegetable oils, which cover the dog's fatty acid requirements. Lakefields complete feed is analysed at regular intervals by independent laboratories. This includes analysing the vitamin and mineral content. They have confirmed that our wet and dry food is labelled as complete feed. The feed monitoring organisation of the state of Baden-Württemberg has also inspected Lakefield's products down to the smallest detail - from the processed ingredients to production and labelling. There were no complaints whatsoever.

How is the feed produced?

How is it. Lakefields dog food last so long without preservatives?

First of all, Lakefields carries out a thorough quality control to ensure that only the best ingredients go into the food. Once all the ingredients have passed this, they are carefully chopped in their unprocessed state, evenly mixed and portioned and filled into tins while still raw. In order to kill potentially harmful germs and to ensure that the grain-free wet food menu has a sufficiently long shelf life even without preservatives, the tins are then slowly cooked in a water bath and then carefully cooled in an immersion basin.
